Models M-520, M-520 B, and M-525:

Effect (bold, underline, or both) for each character within the text.
Option to use the general text "G" (3,000 characters) for ingredients, in lowercase or UPPERCASE to highlight allergens.
Option to include a nutritional information table.
Free text fields (10 x 24 characters).
On receipts and labels for direct sales: option to indicate in the PLU name (with an asterisk or other mark) those that contain allergens and program text such as "* See allergens."
